BrandBase was asked to create an exhibition stand of international stature for the BedrijfsautoRAI in Amsterdam and to emphasize the fact that Shell is market leader in innovative fuels. The euroShell Card was the central theme. The additional briefing was for the Innovation Lab. In this exhibition stand, next to the general Shell stand, the emphasis was on three innovative Shell fuels: FuelSave Diesel, Shell LNG and Shell GTL Fuel.

Solution

To visualize the network behind the euroShell Card, the fuel card for businesses, BrandBase created an artistic installation on the 70 m2 stand. Various engine parts formed the map of Europe in an intriguing image that not only enticed visitors into the booth for a unique photo opportunity, but also into a conversation with one of the professional Shell staff members. At the Innovation Lab, visitors were invited around a futuristic table where they could experience the three innovative Shell fuels themselves. An Oculus Rift showed how a drop of Shell FuelSave Diesel passes through an engine. In the middle of the table was a large Shell LNG tank, with iPads on both sides to experience everything about Shell LNG. In addition, visitors could walk through animations themselves to experience the benefits of Shell GTL Fuel in three different means of transport: a truck, a locomotive and a ship.
