Talent Stage

ABN AMRO is an organization that reaches out and gets involved. It recognizes new potential and helps all kinds of people, including talented individuals from the world of Arts & Culture, achieve their goals. This is the moving force behind ABN AMRO’s sponsorship of Amsterdam’s annual Uitmarkt, which further confirms its status as ‘Partner of the Future’. Brandbase developed an activation with talent development in this field at its core; creating a platform for new talent in the broadest sense of the word, and a main prize in the shape of a chance to perform on the ABN AMRO stage at the Uitmarkt itself.


ABN AMRO’s Talent Stage: an interactive platform allowing new talent to show what they have to offer in short, 15-second videos. The participants could increase their chances of winning by actively sharing their videos via social media, and attracting votes from the public. The competition had three ultimate winners, selected by a jury made up of Karin Bloemen, Frans de Vries of De Vries Producties and ABN AMRO itself, with two winners selected from the top 10 videos with the most votes, and a wildcard winner chosen by the jury from the entire range of submissions.

At the Uitmarkt

All the videos submitted for the competition were shown at the Uitmarkt on the special ABN AMRO Talent Stage. The ultimate winners all got their ‘minutes of fame’ on the main ABN AMRO stage.
